Bihar is now looking at a 20% increase in its plan size

Not very long ago Bihar was being clubbed among the country’s ‘Bimaru’ states.The emergence of Nitish Kumar and the good governance provided by him has changed the state.Bihar is now a flourishing economy registering a growth of consistent double digits over the past couple of years.It is now looking at a 20% increase in its plan size. The government is pushing for a plan size amounting to Rs. 34000 crores as against the current fiscal’s Rs. 28000 crores.

The state’s plan size has already seen an eight-fold increase since 2005 when it was just Rs. 4465 crores.
